END-OF-LIFE PLANNING

I built the Death Dossier to help you go from thinking about getting your plans in place to actually getting them done. Through one-on-one support, I'll help you address any roadblocks or fears, articulate your wishes, and craft an end-of-life plan that aligns with your values and supports the people you love. So you can live fully until the very end.

SITTING VIGIL & COMPANIONSHIP

Companionship and space-holding are at the heart of death doula work. My vigil services include emotional support, curated music and readings, handholding, active listening, and simply being present while someone is dying. In this capacity, I attend to the many non-medical needs of the dying—emotional, spiritual, and logistical support, as well as providing respite and care for caregivers.

CAREGIVING SUPPORT

I'm not a certified CNA or RN, but I have hands-on experience with feeding, bathing, changing, and administering medication. If your loved one is on hospice and you're uncomfortable doing these tasks yourself, I can help and provide guidance.

LEGACY & MEMORIAL PROJECTS

Honoring someone can be a powerful and healing part of the dying and grieving process. Together, we can create a lasting tribute that reflects your unique spirit.

This might look like a memory book using tools like Remento, a written memoir, a living funeral, letters written for future milestones, or something else entirely. Whether you have a clear vision or nothing yet, I'll help you create something meaningful.

HOME FUNERAL & AFTER-DEATH CARE

A home funeral and after-death care support do not have to happen together. You can choose one without the other.

A home funeral is when the body is kept at home for hours or days after death instead of going straight to a funeral home. This enables family and friends to be with the person who died, care for the body themselves, and hold space on their own timeline.

My after-death care support centers on ritual—an important part of the grieving and dying process, especially in the hours and days leading up to and after death. Sometimes this looks like washing a loved one with water infused with essential oils, dressing them in their favorite clothes, and surrounding them with an altar made of flowers, candles, and personal mementos. We might play music, sing, or read poetry or scripture, based on their wishes. A shrouding ceremony can be part of this too, often one of the last acts of care.

AFTER-DEATH LOGISTICS

In the days and weeks after a death, the sheer number of tasks that must be handled while navigating fresh grief is often overwhelming. I offer hands-on support to help alleviate stress.

Whether you're a family member, executor, or close friend, I can assist with a range of practical matters, including:
